Alexis grew up in the suburbs of Boston dedicating her early life to the art of ballet. She has performed in many parts of the U.S. and Europe. Later, while studying Philosophy and International Relations at Boston College, Alexis began volunteering for various programs and charities, always looking for new charitable opportunities and ways to give back. She moved to New York City and began working for NBC News in 2004. Soon after, she found and pursued her career path in public relations at the Swiss jewelry brand Chopard.
Today, Alexis works in communications at David Yurman, an American luxury jewelry and timepiece house. Alexis began volunteering for the AWF in 2008 and was appointed to Communications Director in 2009. Alexis feels fortunate to be working with this foundation on its extraordinary programs and projects.
