Charles W. Stroud co-founded the Afghanistan World Foundation and served as President until September 2005; he serves on the Board of Directors and as Secretary/Treasurer. 

On behalf of the AWF he is associated with the World Foundation for Science, Finance and Development in the design of special programs for rebuilding Afghanistan   He was the supervising producer on the AWF documentary, The Bread Winner.

Charles’ professional background includes affiliations with three motion picture studios, several radio and television networks, and is active in the development of the Native American Television Network (NATVN). 
He has served on the boards of local, state, regional and national professional organizations and charities.  In 2006 he formed a consulting company that is based in Los Angeles, California.
